The program consists of:
One (1) Theory Session (approx. 2-3 hours)
At "Zupps Mitsubishi, 1332 Logan Rd, Mt. Gravatt."

Two (2) Days Practical Session at “Brooklyn”, via Urbenville, NSW.
Meet at
Urbenville General Store at 8.45 am for 9.00 am (sharp) start.

The theory session is held to
introduce members to the Clubs aims, activities, convoy procedures, trip
preparation, four wheel drive ethics and techniques to provide a basis for the practical
session.

The practical session provides two
(2) days of instruction on various aspects of four wheel driving. The emphasis is on using
the safest methods for stall recovery, steep ascents and descents, water crossings, bush
driving techniques and vehicle recovery. Throughout the practical session an experienced
driver is with each student to advise on the correct procedures.

The course is structured for only
one (1) driver per vehicle per course. Family members are welcome to attend but must not
interfere in any way with the advice given by the advisers.

On successful completion of both
the theory and practical sessions, each student should be capable of handling any of this
Clubs medium graded trips.

Basic driving skills only are
given on these courses. Further reinforcement and improvement of these skills is
encouraged by participation on Club trips.

The cost is usually $120.00 per
student if held at "Brooklyn". This cost
includes camping and track fees and advisers expenses.
