Christmas in July - SOCIAL TRIPS

There will be two social trips over the Xmas in July weekend.

Trip 1 will be on the Friday afternoon and Trip 2 on the Saturday morning. All members are welcome to attend what will undoubtedly be a fun-filled trip.

With over 80 members attending the Xmas in July weekend, there will be plenty of variety available in the 4wding and social trips.

The social trips will include:

• A trip to the Queensland Transport Museum and Lights on the Hill Memorial in Gatton (cost is $8.00 and Concession cardholders $6.00). A visit to the Whispers of the Valley Fabric Barn at Grantham. I have it on good authority that the Fabric Barn is an 'Alladin's Cave' of all things arts and crafts!

 

• A trip through the Lockyer Valley State Forest. There is a dirt road, but this is negotiable in 2wd. You'll start at Helidon and finish nead the Cuckoo Close Centre outside of Toowoomba. You'll then head to Scottie's Barn & Garage for lunch (CASH ONLY). There's an impressive automotive-based museum here that will take you back to the 50’s & 60’s. Great homemade food in a stunning location!
