Xmas Party Sunday am Social Trip-Flower Picking - Anne-Marie Lyell

Departure 845am at the front gate

The Curlew Ridge farm is a short drive from the showground on sealed and a short length of dirt road.  Suitable for all vehicles.  The trip is starting at 8:45am at the front gate.  We will meet Amanda the owner at the farm at 9am. She will take us on a tour of the farm, and we can pick our own bouquet of flowers to take home with us.  Please bring your $25 cash on the day to pay Amanda our host and owner of the farm.

Things to know

• Cost is $25 each person - this is the cost for the tour of the Flower Farm and picking a bouquet of flowers for yourself.
• Make sure you have a vase back at camp for your flowers.
• Enclosed shoes must be worn, bring a hat and a cold drink.
• There is no toilet facility at the farm - make sure you go before you leave camp.
• We must have a minimum of 6 people picking flowers to run this trip.  Maximum 15 people
• Plenty of parking at the farm.

Trip duration - Depending on the number of people on the tour, how many questions we ask Amanda about her farm and growing perfect flowers in QLD -  Approximately 1.5hr to 2 hrs for tour and flower picking.

After flower picking, you can either head to town for a cuppa and morning tea or head back to camp.
