Rathdowney Petting Zoo is a brand new family attraction.  They are holding their Grand Opening event on Saturday. 8 August.

 You’re Invited to the Grand Opening of Rathdowney Petting Zoo! 

Come celebrate the opening of a family-friendly petting zoo and meet all of the zoo's wonderful animals!

Open from 9:00am to 3:00pm, with plenty of friendly faces waiting to meet you, including horses, sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, and more.

 Located on Bigriggan Road, Rathdowney, right next door to Bigriggan Camping & Caravan Park. Just follow the signs.

Bring the kids, bring your friends, and enjoy a fun day on the farm.

P.S. Bigriggen Camping and Caravan Park is right next door to the zoo, just in case you want to make a weekend of it.

P.S.S.  The Scenic Rim Adventure Park is not far away for the Dad's (or Mum's) who want to add some off-roading to the day/weekend.
