Lynda's Memorial Fraser Island (K'gari) Trip

Join us for a very special week on K’gari (Fraser Island) as we explore the island in true 4WD style—beaches, tracks, lakes, rainforest and plenty of campfire time at Dundubara.

This is a Medium/Hard trip for experienced 4WDers, with recovery gear and DAP required. We’ll set up camp in the fenced Dundubara camping area and spend the week discovering what makes K’gari such an incredible 4WD destination.

On 24 May, we’ll take a special moment to spread Lynda’s ashes, surrounded by the people, places and adventures she loved.

Come for the tracks, stay for the campfires, laughs and memories—and help us give Lynda the send-off she deserves. ❤️

Important Info: 

• Meeting at Rainbow Beach - Cypress Ave - at 08:00am and leaving at 08:30am
• Trip is rated as Medium/Hard 
• Recovery gear is required
• DAP required

• You will need a vehicle beach driving permit - https://book.parks.qld.gov.au/vehicle-access-permit-kgari-fraser-island
• Camping fee is $7.75/night
• Beach Driving permit is $61.80/Month
• We will be exploring the island.
• Need firewood for nice fire every night. There is wood available on the Island to purchase.  Please note you can bring firewood to K'gari (Fraser Island), but it must be clean, untreated, milled timber off-cuts and never bush wood.
